Greetings ----As our members’ annual meeting approaches
on April 7th, the Gloucestershire Old Spots Board would like to reassure all its
members and the heritage breed community at large that we intend to be the only recognized breed registry for GOS in North
America. At our upcoming meeting we will share with you some new
initiatives we are exploring as we move into our next phase of growth. Among these are methods for expediting GOSA registration
process. Other projects would be to enhance our website with more frequent updates, new material that would support our breeders,
and other ways to leverage social networking among our membership and GOS enthusiasts. As many of you know, we have had our hands full as we re-established the registries after several years
of its dormancy. Now we need your help. We invite you to send your suggestion and, if possible, to volunteer your expertise
and energy in order to bring these new initiatives to pass.If
you are a member, do join us on April 7th at 8pm EST.
Details will follow about how to connect with us via the Internet. Now we are sending out election details for two of our
officers whose terms are expiring. Nominations are open.GOSA
was established in 1996 and holds the original records and institutional history that will lead us into the future.
Let’s
support GOSA.
